Raycho Raychev: Passionate Youth Trainer and Advocate for Empowerment

Raycho Raychev is an experienced and dedicated youth trainer with a deep commitment to empowering young people across Europe. His journey began in 2013 when he co-founded the Sofia Student Council, advocating for the rights of over 100 high schools in Sofia. Raycho’s leadership roles, including serving two terms on the Board of Debate-Bulgaria and as Vice-Chair of the National Youth Forum (NYF), have showcased his dedication to youth rights and active participation.

Throughout his career, Raycho has been at the forefront of youth activism and education, facilitating over 100 training sessions across Europe and impacting more than 2,500 young people. His expertise spans various fields, including personal development, organizational management, non-formal education, democracy, human rights, EU youth policy, and social inclusion. In addition, he created the digital educational handbook LiteMature, which helped over 15,000 students prepare for university entrance exams.

As a passionate advocate for youth rights and education, Raycho has worked with organizations like NYF, Champions Factory, and the European Student Union, contributing to impactful projects such as the EU Youth Dialogue and Erasmus+ exchanges. His work in developing interactive educational resources, such as an upcoming book-game on youth rights, highlights his innovative approach to fostering youth engagement.

Raycho’s training approach emphasizes non-formal education principles, experiential learning, and fostering critical skills such as emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and active listening. He believes in the power of education to shape a better future and is driven by the goal of making a lasting impact on the lives of young people and the broader European community.

Raycho is currently a member of several prominent pools of trainers, including the European Student Union, and is committed to continuing his work of empowering the next generation of leaders.
